South Sudan: Troubled Beginnings

It took a little over two years after the birth of the world's newest state for it to slip back into a bitter conflict which has ravaged the country, displacing over 2 million people and killing tens of thousands.

As part of my coverage of the crisis in South Sudan, I produced a multimedia "mini-site" for IRIN, bringing together photography, film, audio-interviews and custom graphics, as well as text written by journalist Jessica Hatcher.

Exploiting my background in web-design, I designed and coded the site, as well as shooting and producing the films.
